Semi-Automated Evaluation of Analysis in Secondary Student Writing
Here is a demonstration of the algorithm under development that assists in evaluating analysis in secondary level student writing samples. Enter a paragraph of text of at least 50 words at a reading level between grades five and up and then click the button to yield an analysis of the "analytical richness" of the text. The algorithm is most accurate working on student writing samples from ages eleven to eighteen. Please read the study below to find out about developing this algorithm.
